FAQs

How can I place an order for my wedding cake/hampers/gifts?

Step 1 - get in touch as soon as you know your date to check availability
Step 2 - we plan and design your order that fits with your event size, style and budget
Step 3 - make your booking fee payment - you will receive an order confirmation
Step 4 - we will have a final run through over email or by phone where any changes can be made 
Step 5 - delivery of your beautiful bespoke cake!

How much will it cost?

It’s all in the details, all cakes and sweet treats are completely unique, this means there are so many variables to consider when pricing your cake and other wedding goodies. It can depend on shape, size, how many servings, location along with the style, finish and level complexity. (minimum orders do apply)

I have seen a cake online!

That’s great, there are some incredible designs out there and we can certainly use it as our starting point. We love the design process and using it as a reference, making slight adjustments and tweaks to the design will allow it to become more personal to you. 

When should I place an order?

It really is best to get in touch as soon as you know your event date to check availability, even if you’re not sure of your exact requirements. Some months especially during April-May and December-February have limited availability due to peak season and we do get lots of enquires for last minute orders. We will do our best to fulfil them where possible. 

I have no idea what I would like!

Don’t worry, this happens, a lot! From experience we are always able to come up with an initial design that may even evolve into something completely different. I will talk you through all the options and what may seem daunting is actually really fun, honestly! 

Do I need a consultation?

Not always. But a complementary consultation is offered to all wedding couples, these can be arranged at a mutually convenient time. Cake samples will be offered in your choice of flavours from our menu. Consultations usually last around an hour and we discuss all you wedding plans to design a cake that suits your day and within your preferred spend. 
If you chose not to or are not able to meet in person, you are welcome to have a chat on the phone or via WhatsApp/email. Celebration cake orders do not usually require a consultation, these are placed by email or phone.

What size do I need?

This is usually determined by the number of guests you need to cater for and how you would like to serve the cake. Some stay with traditional size portions whilst others would like to serve the cake as dessert. Another consideration is how you would like the cake to be visually. If you only need a small cake but wanted the look of a grander cake, we could introduce false tiers or alter the size and height of the real cake.

Each cake can be altered to fit any size event. For example a three tiered cake would typically be 8 kgs and could cater for 80 guests

Do you deliver?

Yes of course! All wedding cakes are delivered in our refrigerated delivery vans and set up personally by Pastry chef when required. We also liaise with the venue or wedding planner to ensure everything will be set up beautifully and without fuss on the day. We do not allow wedding cakes to be collected.
 

Delivery charges are applicable and take both distance and order size into consideration.

Extras

- A variety of pretty cake stands are available to hire when ordering if available. All stands must be returned within two days of hire. 

- Additional items can also be sourced including cake toppers, fresh or silk flowers, cutting knife etc. 

Refund/Return Policy

In order to provide the freshest quality cakes and other products possible, Love & Cheesecake's products are baked only after we receive your custom order. Our products are shipped on priority within 24 hours. We cannot accept returns. 


In the unlikely event your product is damaged during shipping, please do not accept the cake and contact us immediately on receiving the damaged cake for a  replacement or refund. Send us a photo of the damaged box and damaged product to +91 9819935135. 


NOTE: If we give you a refund, you CANNOT keep the cake. You can only get the refund if you refuse to “accept” the cake. 


Great customer service is our highest priority.

 

We understand that plans can change and we will gladly assist you in making changes to your order date and time whenever possible.

- We accept cancellations by phone (+91 9819935135) only until 72 hours before your delivery date. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if insufficient time is given, as stated below, due to costs incurred in the purchase, priority and preparation of the order. It is entirely up to our discretion, to change or otherwise offer any other options to the customer.

 

Special orders that are not picked up will NOT be refunded. Orders that require delivery and cannot be delivered due to customer’s wrong information or availability will be taken back to our closest outlet and stored until further notice from customer.

 

Because of the nature of our business and our quality and freshness assurance, we will dispose of any cake that is not picked up or delivered within 12 hours after the due time and you will NOT be refunded due to the above rules.
