Founded by Ruchyeta Bhatia and Chef Amit Sharma in 2012, Love & Cheesecake is more than just a dessert destination. It is the beautiful coming together of passion, obsession, flavour and magic.
What started off as a 200 sq. ft. experimental kitchen on Linking Road, Bandra has today grown to be one of Mumbai’s top dessert destinations. Top actors, film personalities, industrialists and media professionals have trusted Love & Cheesecake with their most special occasions.
We pride ourselves in being a curator of desserts across 120 different flavors - most of which are also available in eggless variations. Besides serving the widest variety of desserts, we aim is to deliver them the way they should be - fresh, natural and delicious. Which is why we cut no corners. We make our desserts from imported Dessert Cheeses over more harmful albeit cheaper whipped cream alternatives. Our creations are made from natural fruit rather than artificial flavours. And we make our desserts freshly every day - so that you get that feeling of handcrafted love when you take a bite out of our fabulous offerings! We are also the only dessert brand in Mumbai that provides a citywide delivery, because love knows no pin codes!

Ruchyeta is a Mumbai girl through-and-through. Born in Mumbai and majored in Economics at Jai Hind, she dabbled in market research and advertising at Nielsen/Ogilvy before starting out on her own.
Her first entrepreneurial venture was in the field of corporate training, which she ran successfully for a several years before selling it. Life took a turn when she was having dinner with a few friends and an idea of a premium dessert cafe took shape. She worked with the Marriott Group for a while to learn the ropes before jumping into her 2nd entrepreneurial venture - Love and Cheesecake.
Ruchyeta believes in the power of constant feedback and the zeal to do that little extra. She pushes everyone to cherish their interactions with a customers - they are a chance to learn something new and improve.
You can always catch Ruchyeta zipping across town visiting various stores and helping our store staff. She can also be found at our Central Kitchen / HQ where she leads store ops, strategy and marketing that ensures your Red Velvet Cheesecake reached you on-time and is perfect!
Chef Amit has food in his blood. His father ran a successful catering business in Punjab, so it was only natural for his son to enter this industry.
After graduating from culinary school, he worked at Taj, Westin and Marriott Group for several years before co-founding Love and Cheesecake with Ruchyeta.
Amit believes in constant innovation. That one has to continuously create new products to capture the imagination for customers. And for Amit, this comes only naturally.
You can always catch him in the kitchen playing with new flavors and experimenting with innovative techniques. Some of LNC’s best-sellers, including the coconut-ganache filled chocolate modaks, Fresh Granola and Fruits Cheesecake and Goat’s Cheese and Rosemary Cheesecake have come from such wild experiments. Some of his innovations – including the chocolate modaks and fresh mango cheesecake – were even featured on NDTV.
